Kobakov Featured in Playback
In keeping with Playback's 'Top 5/New Establishment' series, today's article focuses on Core composer Todor Kobakov. (see The New Establishment: Todor Kobakov). Writer Aaron Hutchins touches on Kobakov's recent work on the hit SyFy series, "Bitten" as well as his score for Bruce McDonald's "The Husband". That film which he co-scored with Ian LeFeuvre premiered at TIFF 2013 and won "Best Canadian Film" at WFF. Todor's also worked with the biggest names in Canadian music, including Emily Haines, k-os and orchestrated & conducted on Sara Bareilles' Grammy nominated album, "The Blessed Unrest".
