Ben Fox

Ben Fox is a guitarist, songwriter, music producer, and Canadian Screen Award-nominated composer for film & television.

As a multi-instrumentalist with a passion for innovative music production, Fox brings a modern sensibility to film, television, and commercial composition. He has scored international campaigns for brands like Hugo Boss and Adidas; contributed songs to television series like 'The Moblees' (CBC), and 'The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About That' (PBS), and his work in film has screened across the world at festivals like TIFF, Tribeca, Chicago International, Busan International, HotDocs, and Slamdance, among others.

Recent credits include television series 'Four In The Morning' (CBC), CSA-nominated documentary ‘Babe, I Hate To Go’ (dir. Andrew Moir, HotDocs 2017), CSA-winning documentary Take A Walk On The Wildside’ (dir. Lisa Rideout, HotDocs 2017), and feature film Suck It Up’ (dir. Jordan Canning, Slamdance 2017). Fox’s score for feature film 'Never Steady, Never Still' (dir. Kathleen Hepburn, TIFF 2017) garnered him a nomination for Best Original Score at the 2018 Canadian Screen Awards.
