Songwriters
Core Music Agency is an industry leader when it comes to composer representation in Canada. We recently expanded our roster to include songwriters and music producers in response to the increasing number of opportunities for recordings artists and bands in the realm of original songs and score.
If you are a songwriter, band or music producer and you have recently been involved in composing an original score and/or writing and performing an original song for film, television or advertising, we invite you to contact us regarding representation.
Before contacting us, please keep the following key criteria in mind:
- You must be an established recording artist, band or songwriter with a strong presence in today's music industry.
- You must have recent significant original score and/or original song credits in film, television, animation, and interactive or web-based media productions.
- You must have: For original score, at your disposal, the means to produce and deliver a professional level score, mixed in stems. For songwriting, the means to professionally write, record and produce an original song and deliver full and instrumental master recordings.
- You must have the ability to discuss, demonstrate and deliver your work remotely from where ever you are in the world.
- You must have a collaborative spirit, a solid work ethic and be able to take direction.

In your email, please address how you satisfy the above criteria and provide us with a link where we can stream your music online. Additionally, we ask that you attach a PDF copy of your resume and any positive press that relates to your experience and talents as a songwriter and/or composer of original score. Please do not attach music files to your email as it is our policy not to accept unsolicited creative material. If we think there might be a good fit between you and Core, we'll contact you.
