Joanna Takes a Prize at TIFF Kids

Jeremy Lutter's drama, "Joanna Makes a Friend" earned more laurels on Monday at this year's TIFF Kids Film Festival, taking home the "Audience Choice" award - Best Short Film. The story about an unpopular young girl who literally makes her own friend has also been nominated for a Golden Sheaf Award at this years upcoming Yorkton Film Festival.

Eloquently acted by Dellia Bella and Fred Ewanuick, the beautifully shot production actually built a functioning robot and features an endearing score by Core composer / music producer, Matthew Rogers.
