Jonas Shandel

Audiences know Jonas Shandel as the driving force behind acoustic roots band “Headwater.”

Jonas has recorded two albums and toured western Canada, Europe and the British Isles. Since 2001, Headwater has grabbed a reputation as one of Canada’s best folk and country groups.

In 2009, Jonas recorded his first solo album: “Jonas Shandel,” produced by Mathew Rogers, who has worked with C.R Avery, Mark Burube, Cori Woodward and Twilight hotel.

The end result is a record full of smooth vocal harmonies; hanging steel guitars; neatly arranged songs, a package that drills into your brain, causes constant replay and uncontrollable foot action.
